Hi everyone, I wanted to share a command-line tool I built to stop me from constantly switching between my terminal and random web utilities. Castov CLI (npx castov) is a zero-dependency Node.js companion designed for terminal-first developers. Here is what you can do directly from your shell: - Port & Process Diagnostics: Run castov fix "EADDRINUSE: 3000" to instantly find and get OS commands to kill blocked ports. - CSPRNG Cryptographic Secrets: Run castov secret --len 32 to generate secure hex/base64 keys. - Subnet Math: Run castov cidr 10.240.0.0/22 for quick IPv4 subnet calculations. - Encrypted Env Vaults: Sync and pull encrypted .env files locally using castov vault pull . Everything runs strictly locally with zero data logging. You can test it instantly without global installation using: npx -y castov --help The web suite and documentation are at: https://www.castov.com I would love to hear your thoughts or feedback on how to make the CLI workflows even faster! submitted by /u/benidira [link] [comments]
