Hey everyone, I’ve been building a side project called Vinly to manage my own record collection, mostly because I felt like I was missing a clean, visual way to see how my collection's value changes over time. Right now, Discogs gives us a static snapshot of the low/median/high price, but it doesn't really show price trends or market history in a visual chart. Before spending more time refining it, I wanted to get your honest thoughts: How do you currently track your collection's overall value? (Do you just rely on Discogs stats, spreadsheets, or something else?) Would dynamic price charts and automated value history actually be useful to you, or is the basic Discogs info more than enough? If a tool like this existed, what’s one specific feature you feel is missing from existing apps today? As collectors, would a paid subscription (around €10/mo) for continuous price tracking make sense, or is this something you’d only expect as a small one-time fee / free tool? Not trying to sell anything here—just looking for raw feedback from fellow collectors before I keep building. Thanks for your time! submitted by /u/DarkCALM_ [link] [comments]
