Saudi Arabia's civil defence agency issued warnings of potential danger for several western provinces including Mecca. The alerts concerned major cities like Jeddah, Taif, and Yanbu and were quickly rescinded. Residents were advised to seek safety as Yemeni Houthis targeted the kingdom's infrastructure in recent conflicts. Interceptions of ballistic missiles aimed at Taif and Yanbu were reported on the same day.
