I run a small site with free calculators for online sellers. I kept seeing TikTok Shop sellers say “the fee is only 6%” and then wonder why their payout was way lower. The 6% is just the referral fee. Creator commission, shipping, ads and refunds all come out of the same sale, so the real number is a lot worse.
