Okay, you can downvote me if you want, but I'm here to share a perspective that I think a lot of players are overlooking. 1. Gameplay The Baddie Pass is genuinely one of the best decisions DTI has made, and here's why. It gives players an additional gameplay loop and another reason to keep playing. For example, when you first start grinding the Baddie Pass, you might feel like the rounds are bad and the voting sucks. But if you keep coming back and playing regularly, you're more likely to encounter better servers and themes that you actually enjoy. It gives you another reason to play beyond just making outfits and waiting for the next update. And honestly, I think that's a good thing. 2. Seasonal currency Okay, I'll admit it: some of the items are pretty expensive. I'm not going to pretend otherwise. BUT WHY ARE WE ONLY LOOKING AT THE PRICES AND IGNORING THE CONTEXT? We need to consider the event's duration, how candy can be earned, and how much candy players can actually obtain. This isn't a two-day event that's going to disappear immediately. The event lasts much longer, potentially giving players plenty of time to collect what they want. And we don't even need to explain all the ways to earn candy again, because there are already plenty of posts discussing them. DTI also didn't design the system so that every round gives you only 10 candy before trying to sell you a 2x seasonal currency gamepass. There are multiple activities and ways to earn candy. So yes, the prices can be high, but looking at the price tag alone doesn't tell you whether the grind is actually unreasonable. You don't have to buy everything on day one. You can take your time, play when you want, and work toward the items you actually care about. 3. Robux content Personally, I don't think the Robux content makes this update unplayable or ruins the entire experience. Let's be real: I don't own any gamepasses, and I'm still having fun playing DTI. I don't particularly care if DTI reworks Robux sets, increases their prices, or adds skin details as paid content. Those decisions don't affect my enjoyment of the game enough to make me stop playing. I'm not saying nobody is allowed to criticize these decisions. I'm saying that, from my perspective, they aren't enough to ruin an otherwise enjoyable update. Overall, I think Halloween 2026 has given me plenty of reasons to keep playing. I enjoy the gameplay, I like having new items to work toward, and I don't feel the need to grind everything immediately. You can disagree with the pricing or the monetization. That's fine. But I think we should evaluate the update as a whole instead of letting a few controversial decisions overshadow everything else it offers. submitted by /u/Nam-An2011 [link] [comments]
