Mary Grace Cassar, the woman who was allegedly killed by her son John, will be laid to rest this Friday, 23rd October.Her funeral will take place at the Mqabba Parish Church at 2pm, as family, friends and members of the local community prepare to bid her a final farewell.Mary Grace has been remembered by a fellow Mqabba resident as a kind-hearted woman who never caused trouble for anyone.The residents say Mary Grace generally spent most of her time at home, occasionally going out to attend activities organised by the local council or to visit the church.Her death has left those who knew her remembering a quiet woman who largely kept to herself and enjoyed taking part in community and religious activities.Her son John has been identified in reports as the person suspected of killing her, although the allegation has not been established in court.Mary Grace will be given her final farewell on Friday afternoon in the village she called home.•
