Nasdaq 100 at the bottom of its range: hold or give way?US Tech 100 IndexPEPPERSTONE:NAS100Rizq-FXThe Nasdaq 100 (NAS100) closed the week at 28,997.7, down from the 31,386 high in early October and sitting just under the bottom of its 20-day range (29,073). The next line below is 28,757; the line that lets the bounce story back in is about 30,000. Key levels - 31,386: the October high. - 30,000: the round number where the moving line sits, the first thing a bounce has to reclaim. - 29,073: the bottom of the 20-day range, now just overhead. - 28,818 to 28,757: the zone under price and the "wrong if" line for the up read. - 27,050: the July low, the big floor underneath. If it goes sideways: (most likely) What would show it: price stuck between about 28,800 and 29,900 with small candles and no close outside that box. Where to act: stay patient until a daily close settles it. Work the edges only with a tight out level, or wait for a close outside the box. Odds: likely. If it goes down: What would show it: a daily close under 28,757 (the Trend Mentor says one more down close tips it). Broad falling across the board backs it: 20 of 23 markets fell last session. Where to act: short from 29,000 to 29,300 on a bounce that fails; out above 29,900; first target 28,757, then 28,200. Odds: possible. If it goes up: What would show it: a close back above 29,073, then above 30,000, with the board turning from falling to mixed. Where to act: long from 28,800 to 28,950 if 28,757 holds; out below 28,700; first target 29,900, then 30,300. Odds: less likely. Intermarket read: oil jumped 4.4% to 103 while stocks fell, VIX rose 2.2% and the 10-year yield rose to 5.0%. Oil rising while stocks fall is supply or risk pricing, not a warning on its own. Order Blocks drew the zones price has come back to, Trend drew the 20-day range box and the moving lines, and Market Board drew the table of markets and how each moved. Not financial advice.
