/u/CheeseSandwich on Today, I ordered takeout and picked it up at the register. The tap and pay came up. The tip portion option was either 18%, 20%, 25% or other. I choose other. I did 10%. The lady looked pissed and asked “why did you change it to 10%?”

You need to grow a spine. You are literally giving away money for no reason. The food won't taste any better nor any aspects of the takeout experience improve because you tip.
