what if ai actually told you your startup idea sucks?

Wait 5 sec.

okay so i've been building something called opennmind for a few months now, and i'm finally releasing the first version on november 16. one thing that's always annoyed me about ai is how you can give it literally any startup idea and it'll somehow convince you it's brilliant lol. but what if instead of just agreeing with you, it actually helped you figure out whether your idea is worth building? that's kinda what i'm trying to do with opennmind. you can bring your own idea or pick one from a library, and wiora (the ai assistant i'm building) helps you break it down, research competitors, identify assumptions, and find actual evidence for your claims. you can also log interviews with potential customers, see what you've learned, and turn everything into a roadmap with tasks and milestones. i'm also adding a directory of indian startup programs, grants, and schemes with eligibility details and deadlines, since finding these things is honestly a pain. and yep, wiora supports voice conversations too, so you can literally talk through your ideas with it. this is just the first version though. i've got a much bigger vision for opennmind, including ai agents that work on projects, automated website testing, ai customer interviews, landing page creation, practical learning, and business simulations. but after getting quite a bit of feedback from people here on reddit, i decided to start smaller and make the core experience actually useful before adding everything else. over 200 people have already tried the private beta, and 800+ have joined the waitlist. i've also added a few screenshots to this post so you guys can see what the platform actually looks like rn. the launch is set for november 16, and the waitlist is open at https://opennmind.com. i'm also giving early users 1 month of pro for free when it launches. but i'm genuinely curious about a few things. would you actually use something like this? would you pay for it if it worked well, and if yes, how much? what's one feature you'd want me to prioritize? and most importantly, what do you think of the platform so far, especially the design? feel free to criticize anything, i'm taking notes from these posts and making changes based on what people actually want, so even negative feedback helps a lot lol. submitted by /u/Low_Cable2610 [link] [comments]
