Jonamass Travel and Tours has been named Tour Operator of the Year 2026 in the Western Region at the Western Regional Tourism Awards.The company received the award at a ceremony held earlier this month at The Grove Essipon Resort. The awards, organised by the Ghana Tourism Authority in the Western Region, recognise businesses and individuals in the tourism industry.Chief Executive Officer of Jonamass Travel and Tours, John Asamoah Assasie, said the recognition would encourage the company to improve its services and contribute to tourism development.He said the company would continue working to improve its travel and tour services.The award comes amid efforts by tourism stakeholders to promote attractions in the Western Region and improve hospitality services for visitors.The recognition places Jonamass Travel and Tours among the businesses acknowledged at this year’s regional awards, which seek to encourage service improvements and innovation in the tourism sector.
