Why is it so hard for chipotle workers to not put a pound of sour cream on my burrito?

Wait 5 sec.

Every single time I get to the pico and corn, I stop, wait to make sure they hear that I want a small scoop of sour cream, and for some reason, they still fill the spoon to the brim with sour cream. And then I’ll be like hold up, I just want a very small scoop. Then they give me attitude. As if they get an end of the year bonus for most sour cream put on burritos. I seriously don’t understand their protocol, and why this problem happens so often. This has been going on for years. Why is it so difficult, even when I ask and annunciate and make sure they’re not scooping something when I ask, to just put a little bit? It’s almost always a giant spoon filled to the brim and I die a little inside knowing every ingredient in my burrito is gonna be drenched in sour cream. And I’m gonna have to spend $15 on something I don’t even want to eat. I tried a burrito with no sour cream but it’s like a burger without ketchup or a salad without dressing. It’s just a bit too dry. But I literally get stressed going their now because idk if I’m gonna end up having to waste $15 on a meal I can’t even finish. Do people in general want a third of their burritos weight to be sour cream? I don’t understand. EDIT: My bad guys I get it now. If the worker doesn’t want to listen to any preferences, they shouldn’t have to. Their life is hard enough. It is the workers decision how they want to make your burrito, not yours. If I can only finish 3/4 of my burrito because the amount of sour cream makes me sick, that is nobody’s problem but my own. Case closed. submitted by /u/focusrunner79 [link] [comments]
