A small follow-up to the IvoKeys project I shared here. The last experiment was a quiet piano stream with bedtime affirmations. Tonight I'm testing a hosted concert: can audience conversation become part of the performance without getting in the way of the music? Ivo is a virtual pianist, rendered in real time from MIDI, with sampled piano audio and an AI voice host. There is no physical robot or human pianist behind the avatar. What's new: a dedicated concert page, a programme runner, chat responses queued one at a time, audience choices, short musical quizzes and personal dedications. Viewer actions have server-side limits; the producer keeps control of the show. These are experiments to test together, not a promise that every interaction will be seamless. The first session is today, Saturday 24 October, at 20:00 Cyprus / 17:00 UTC. Free, online, in English, about an hour. We'll play Satie's Gymnopédies, Debussy's Première Arabesque and Clair de lune, and Joplin's Solace, with a choice of an energetic or quiet finale. Full programme and free ticket: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2003853080506 The ticket provides viewing links. Email is collected for registration; marketing consent is separate and optional. Bring a friend if this sounds like your kind of evening. Previous discussion: https://www.reddit.com/r/SideProject/comments/1xctpg0/ I'd especially appreciate feedback on the balance between music and conversation. What would make you stay: requests, dedications, or simply more uninterrupted piano? submitted by /u/PapayaFeeling8135 [link] [comments]
