Gold Weekly Outlook — Waiting for Price to Show Its HandMicro Gold FuturesCOMEX_MINI:MGC1!DWoodzLabor Day has the market moving a little slower than normal, and right now Gold is sitting in consolidation after a strong move higher last week. Overall, I still have a bullish lean. The reason is simple: price pushed back up inside of value after briefly trading lower and rejected the downside. That rejection left a noticeable wick on the Daily chart, which tells me buyers are still active. That said, I don't want to force a directional bias too early because price also left two important areas behind: 🔵 H4 Bullish FVG below price 🔴 H4 Bearish FVG above price For me, this creates a "wait and react" environment. If price pushes higher first but remains inside the broader value area and begins rejecting the upper H4 FVG, I would expect a move back lower. But if price sweeps lower into the H4 Bullish FVG, finds support, and rejects the lows, that could become the fuel for another leg higher. One thing I'm paying close attention to is volume profile and value. Last week, price moved back inside value after rejecting lower prices. If buyers can continue accepting price higher, that strengthens the bullish case. If not, and we start seeing rejection from higher prices with aggressive selling on order flow, then we may simply be rotating back through value before finding direction. With the U.S. holiday, patience is key. No need to force trades when the market hasn't fully shown its intentions. Right now, I'm letting price come to my levels and waiting for confirmation. 📍 Upper H4 FVG = possible resistance 📍 Lower H4 FVG = possible support 📍 Consolidation break = directional clue For now: Bullish until proven otherwise, but flexible enough to react if the market tells a different story.
