China's passenger car exports have already exceeded last year's total for this year. August saw a significant 67.1% surge in passenger car exports, driven by electric vehicles. This strong export performance is expected to largely offset domestic sales which continue to fall. Intense competition and economic pressures are impacting China's internal car market significantly.
