It has a published G1 BC of .675, which is exceptional for a bullet this diameter. It is a little heavy for use in smaller cartridges like the 6mm ARC, but in a 6mm GT or Dasher, these bullets will be hard to beat. As with all of the other A-Tip projectiles, be sure to use the special seating stem to avoid damaging these very sleek bullets during loading. The 177-grain .308 projectile is replacing the 176-grain option. The published BC numbers are just a touch higher than the older model, but the real performance gain is hiding. Those BC numbers are calculated at velocities that cartridges like the .308 Winchester only match at the muzzle. This new 177-grain model is optimized for low drag at those slower speeds.
