The attraction became unavailable during portions of April and May while Disney used the theater for a May the 4th merchandise event.That makes the current closure less concerning than an unexplained extended shutdown. Disney hasn’t been working on a lengthy refurbishment or preparing to remove the attraction permanently. That leaves a short gap before Vacation Fun resumes its normal schedule three days later.For guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios before September 27, the attraction is scheduled to remain unavailable. Anyone arriving on or after that date should once again see it as part of the park’s entertainment lineup, assuming Disney doesn’t make another schedule adjustment.Its return won’t carry the attention of a major ride reopening.
