As of September 7, 2026, Disney has officially removed one popular Finding Nemo (2003) property from the public, and it won’t be available again until summer 2027. The roller coaster, inspired by the iconic sea turtle character from Finding Nemo, originally opened at Walt Disney Studios Park (now known as Disney Adventure World) in 2007. It is one of the few attractions that exist only at Disneyland Paris Resort, never replicated at any other Disney park around the world.Sunday, September 6, was the final day for European Disney Park guests to ride Crush’s Coaster until summer 2027. Disneyland Paris Resort installed blue wooden walls around the entire ride facade, a few of which feature submarine-style windows with pictures of Finding Nemo characters.Crush’s Coaster is now closed until summer 2027. The second Disneyland Paris Resort gate was transformed from a theme park about movie-making into an immersive journey through guests’ favorite franchises, from Marvel Avengers Campus to the brand-new World of Frozen. Future plans for the park include a log flume ride and a land inspired by The Lion King (1994), as well as a rumored expansion inspired by Avatar (2009).What Will Change About Crush’s Coaster?Disneyland Paris Resort hasn’t shared its plans for Crush’s Coaster, but guests have been reporting problems with the attraction since mid-2025.
