Richarlison’s move from Tottenham to Brazilian side Vasco da Gama has collapsed, with only a few hours remaining before the transfer window closes. The transfer window in South America is set to slam shut in a few hours, leaving Richarlison with little time to complete a move away from Tottenham. Vasco da Gama were keen on the forward’s signature after reports emerged earlier in the week that Richarlison had given his approval to a move to the Brazilian outfit. Tottenham dropped their £40 million valuation of the forward – one they held back in August – to £17.1 million, and negotiations were ongoing between Spurs and Vasco over a deal.Credit: @thatfootballphotog / InstagramTottenham and Vasco da Gama reach agreement in principle for Richarlison but deal falls throughAccording to Sami Mokbel of BBC Sport, a move to Brazil for Richarlison has now fallen through despite Vasco’s efforts to secure the signature of the forward. It is understood that both Tottenham and the Brazilian outfit were able to agree on a deal for the forward. However, Vasco could not agree on personal terms with Richarlison, leading to the deal collapsing in the final hours of the transfer window in South America.
