FxPro Joins Retail Brokers in Weekend Trading Adding Gold, Oil and Nasdaq

FxPro has introducedweekend trading for five instruments covering gold, silver, WTI crude oil,natural gas and the Nasdaq index.The move followssimilar expansions in trading hours by other retail brokers. Vantagelaunched a 24/7 gold CFD in July, while CMCMarkets added weekend gold trading in April. XMintroduced seven-day gold CFD trading in August.The new products areavailable on FxPro’s Standard MT5 account. They allow clients to trade the fivemarkets outside their traditional weekday trading hours.FxPro Opens Weekend Trading Across FiveMarketsThe offering spansprecious metals, energy and equities. FxPro said the products are intended togive clients access to these markets during the weekend, when the underlyingmarkets are normally closed.The broker saidtraders can use the instruments to respond to developments outside regulartrading hours, including geopolitical events, political announcements andchanges in market sentiment.Clients can also openpositions ahead of the new trading week. FxPro said there is no limit on thenumber of weekend positions that can be opened.When the underlyingmarkets reopen, weekend positions are automatically transferred to thecorresponding weekday instruments. This allows positions opened during theweekend to continue into regular weekday trading.The products areavailable through MetaTrader 5 and the FxPro app. Weekend trading is availableonly in certain jurisdictions, according to the broker.FxPro UK Trading Reaches $87 BillionThe weekend trading expansion comes as FxPro’sUK arm reported higher trading activity in 2025. The company attributed therise in client activity to higher market volatility linked to geopoliticaldevelopments, including the Gaza-Israel conflict and instability in the MiddleEast. A Companies House filing said activityincreased across several asset classes, resulting in higher transaction volumesand revenue.
