I've been playing since the brat update and today I found out these two patterns are actually slightly different. Until now I thought it was a glitch or something because I genuinely couldn't tell they're different. I think DTI has a problem mostly with patterns when most of them are just recolors or very similar to others. There's these two leopard patterns + the pink one above + the pink and white one in the valentine's patterns + another dlc exclusive one + the leopard print material toggle. Although I love animal print I would love to see more variety, it girl for example has a fawn pattern and a reptile, scale-ish pattern (probably many more I can't recall now) plus the addition of being recolorable. we really need some kind of alt update that adds more patterns than just floral and cutesy ones. A pattern pack with new animal prints, patterns that resemble chains, patterns that resemble a gothic cathedral, even patterns more suitable for horror themes...
