The Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes will be worth €316,500, an increase of €66,500 above the original value, when it takes place at The Curragh on Sunday. The 6 1/2-furlong contest, for juveniles only, will form part of the second day of the Irish Champions Festival in Ireland.A total of 19 horses were confirmed at the five-day entry stage on Tuesday, with Joseph O'Brien's Star Of State (State Of Rest) one of the standouts after running second in the G2 Lowther Stakes last month. Her owner, Jabar Abdullah, also sees Listed Dragon Stakes winner Bint Archange (Ubettabelieveit) run for Richard Hughes, as well as Carlisle runner-up Mehmas Star (Mehmas) for Karl Burke. Hugo Palmer will saddle Adaay Of Scarlett (Mehmas), who as finished second in a trio of Group 2 affairs so far.The Super Auction Sales Stakes is for yearlings sold or bought in under the hammer at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale and Tattersalls Ireland Sapphire Sale, where purchasers are provided with the opportunity to opt into the race at the point of purchase.
