BJP opposes circular on breakfast scheme - The HinduPublished - September 13, 2026 11:59 pm IST - CHENNAINainar NagendranBJP State president Nainar Nagenthran on Sunday criticised a reported circular, as per which the Tamil Nadu government issued an advisory for headmasters to bear the expenses to be incurred for the expansion of the breakfast scheme for school students.In a social media post, he said while the expansion of the scheme was welcome, it was shocking that it had been planned without proper financial allocation.
