Team USA defeated France in the final game of the women’s FIBA basketball championships, 97-79.Coach Kara Lawson again refused to play the world’s greatest player and greatest college basketball scorer ever, Caitlin Clark.Clark is the reason millions of fans flock to women’s basketball today. And Coach Lawson refused to start her for the entire tournament. Lawson also allowed Clark’s teammates to ignore her throughout the tournament. Lawsom may think fans didn’t notice. We did!This was coaching malpractice.This was also a very solid argument against women in leadership roles. You would NEVER see this type of pettiness in any major sports league. Only the WBNBA and now FIBA tournaments.Even the World Wrestling Federation has more integrity than this group of confused activists who ran the women’s FIBA team this year.Clark only played 3 minutes in the first half and witnessed the USA falling behind by more than eight points to France from the bench.Nutty coach Kara Lawson benched Caitlin Clark in the FIBA final against France. This coach should be investigated. She forgets she represents the United States.Clark then was sent in just before the half when she quickly drained a 3-pointer to put the US within two points.In the second half, France fell apart, and the US pulled ahead. Clark finished with 12 points, shooting 2-for-3 from 3-point range despite her limited playing time.Her teammates still refused to pass to her.They REFUSE to give Caitlin Clark the ball. She got no shot attempts, and barely touched the ball. — Third in the league in scoring, and barely playing in a Gold medal game.
