A TikTok user recently went viral after sharing a lighthearted moment from a trip to Twin Peaks, BroBible reports. Johanna Sacs, who posts under the username @modern.day.stork, shared a video where she is happily eating her meal while her boyfriend looks on in faux annoyance. The clip, which has reached 1.4 million views, features on-screen text that reads, “Thank you to the waitress at Twin Peaks for forgetting his order and not mine.” It turns out there was a simple explanation for the delay. Sacs explained that they were sitting at the bar and ordered two plates. Her chicken wings arrived first, but after waiting for a while, she checked in with their server. She noted, “We sat at the bar and ordered two plates. My chicken wings came out before his food did, after sometime I asked the waitress where his food was since it had been quite awhile. She apologized and went to the kitchen (this is when the video was recorded as a joke) and she returned with his plate,” she added. The decision to dine at Twin Peaks was actually hers Sacs mentioned that she and her husband are fans of UFC and wanted to watch a fight card that was happening that afternoon. She picked Twin Peaks specifically because they knew the venue would be showing the fights. @modern.day.stork ♬ original sound – The Stork The internet, however, had plenty to say about the couple’s choice of venue. Commenters were divided, with some people feeling that visiting such establishments is disrespectful. One user wrote, “Y’all normalize things men would never normalize.” Another person commented, “I just find it disgusting go to places specifically to view women’s a—-, breasts, bodies… so weird [we] normalize this.” On the other hand, many people defended the couple. One supporter remarked, “Everybody hating and they prolly the happiest couple ever.” Another commenter, who identified as a former regular turned waitress, said, “We’re for the girlies we don’t gaf about those men.” Someone else added, “Them girls are nice as hell to me and mean to my man when we go, I like them pretty ladies over there.” Sacs addressed the criticism by highlighting how long she and her husband have been together. She explained, “We’ve been to Twin Peaks before, have many friends who go with their significant others and there was also families eating there. We have been happily married and together for 10 years with. We never thought there was much controversy to places like Twin Peaks and Hooters so we have been shockingly surprised at some of the comments from others.”
