Singer and songwriter Dokta Brain opened up about the deeply emotional and personal experience behind the recording of his trending song ‘Bikyaganye’, revealing that the lyrics are drawn from the realities of his own life.According to Dokta Brain, everything he sings about in the song is based on experiences he encounters in his everyday life, making the track more of a personal testimony than a fictional composition. The singer revealed that while writing and composing the song was not particularly difficult, recording it became an emotional battle because some of the verses touched him so deeply that he repeatedly broke down in the studio. What was initially expected to be a short recording session eventually stretched to nearly three hours as Dokta Brain had to pause several times, compose himself and regain the strength to continue.Everything that I sang about in that song is the pure truth. There was nothing added; I only found it difficult during delivery. What disturbed me the most was recording it, not the creative part. During recording, there were moments that touched my heart deeply and I would break down and relax. I spent almost three hours recording it. Though it should have taken me a little time, because of its emotional side, it took me long.Dokta Brain further insisted that the song does not exaggerate his experiences, saying the reality behind the lyrics is even bigger than what listeners hear because he deliberately left out some details.“There is nothing I lied about. Everything you hear is the bitter truth, though I just left out others.”Beyond the success of ‘Bikyaganye’, Dokta Brain is also preparing for his upcoming show dubbed “The Doorkey Experience” scheduled for September 26 at Skyz Hotel, where he promises fans an experience that goes beyond music.UIFW Returns in Style: A Night of Fashion, Culture and ImpactThe singer said the event will take fans back to their childhood, with daytime activities focused on traditional games and having fun without relying on drugs or other harmful substances.“Fans should anticipate that we’re going to learn how to play as back then. People have learned to play with things which are not for free, but we should remind them of how to have fun without using drugs and toxic substances. We used to play different kinds of games in our childhood using everyday things. That day will be for playing and the night will be for music alone.”Oluyimba lwa 'Bikyaganye' naluwandiika bwenkaaba – Dokta Brain ayogedde byeyayitamu ng'akola oluyimba lwe olufuuse ensonga. #Kirikitya @dianahNabatanz pic.twitter.com/s3swqvFZNS— BBS TEREFAYINA (@bbstvug) September 7, 2026The post Dokta Brain reveals deep emotional struggle behind hit song ‘Bikyaganye’ appeared first on MBU.
