But God is in control, and we’ll pray that whoever did this is held accountable and comes to know Him,” Turning Point USA Spokesman Andrew Kolvet told The Gateway Pundit.The statue, which was designed by Quintin McCann and features Kirk’s cross necklace, wedding ring, and the famous “Freedom” shirt he was wearing the day he was murdered, was unveiled on Thursday, September 10, the first anniversary of Kirk’s assassination.Just days later, deranged leftists vandalized the statue with red paint on Kirk’s neck, where he was shot, and on his face and hand.
