So I’m an AP. One of my KLs has repeatedly shown up to work high or drunk and every shift drinks an entire pack of shooters, I’ve anonymously reported him to the police before but they left before he left the building and he’s been threatening to tell our field leader about me and a few other managers hanging out and drinking and stuff. Stating We violated the ethics policy. But he’s only going to tell if I write him up or he’s fired. So I’m in a tough spot cause no matter what I do either get in trouble or let him be an angry drunk every shift. And then my gm has shown up to my place before when I’ve called out sick with a 104 fever and a picture i sent to him saying if I don’t go in then our metrics will be hurt and I’ll be responsible and that all the managers have gone into work sick before. And so after a while of back and forth I agreed and the next day my field leader was at the store and my gm was just talking about how I had a Terrible close and was upset that I tried to call out.
