Kizuna's Monroe Walk took her record to a perfect four-for-four with a three-length tally in the 1800-metre G2 Ansai Telecasting Corp. Sho Rose Stakes at Hanshin on Sunday. The M's Racing runner is the first filly to win the race undefeated in 24 years.Sent off at 90 cents on the dollar, the dark bay tugged her way into a stalking second for the backstretch run and Keita Tosaki had his hands full containing his energetic charge. Fast Forward (Harbinger) kept the advantage after a half-mile in :47.20, but was always feeling the heat from the eventual winner.Edging closer through seven furlongs in 1:21.60, Monroe Walk sprinted away from there to win easily. Enne (Kizuna), who had stalked for much of this contest, closed to take second, 1 1/2 lengths in front of the rallying Exceed (Kitasan Black). That full-sister to wunderkind Equinox shared the fastest final three furlong time of :34.10 with Monroe Walk. Fast Forward hung on for fourth, a half-length behind. The top three finishers receive a berth in the G1 Shuka Sho on October 18.Started in a 1600-metre juvenile newcomers' race at Niigata in August of 2025, Monroe Walk prevailed there before adding a pair of Hakodate 1800-metre races this June and on July 19.Pedigree NotesShadai Stallion Station's Kizuna is the sire of 54 stakes winners, 35 at the group level after Monroe Walk's victory. The winner is a daughter of G1 Thousand Guineas heroine Amphitrite (Sebring), who also placed third in the G1 Australian Guineas.
