National Lok Adalat settles 1.51 lakh cases in Telangana, ₹42.29 crore refunded to victims - The HinduPublished - September 13, 2026 06:53 pm IST - HYDERABADAs many as 1,51,164 compoundable cases were settled across Telangana during the third National Lok Adalat held on Saturday, including 3,896 cyber fraud cases in which ₹42.29 crore was refunded to victims.The settlement drive, aimed at reducing the pendency of cases and providing litigants an opportunity to resolve disputes through compromise, was conducted across the State. The police department had identified eligible compoundable cases and served notices to the parties. The settlement process began on September 3 and concluded on September 12.Of the total cases settled, 21,843 were FIR cases, 1,404 were Disaster Management cases, 61,052 were e-Petty cases and 62,969 were cases booked under the Motor Vehicles Act.
