Avinash Sable won the 3000m steeplechase race after a career-threatening injury. He underwent surgery for an ACL and meniscus injury on his right knee. Sable endured a painful recovery and doubted his return to the sport. He expressed gratitude for the AFI's trust and support in his comeback. Sable is now confident of winning a medal at the upcoming Asian Games.
