Tottenham Hotspur head coach Roberto De Zerbi has once again shown his willingness to look towards the academy, with one of the club’s youngest talents now getting a closer look at senior level.De Zerbi revealed in July, during Tottenham’s tour of Australia and New Zealand, that he is ‘used to working with young players’ and that age is not a factor he considers when deciding whether someone is ready to play for his team. His record backs that up, too, having helped several youngsters break into senior football during previous spells in management, with Carlos Baleba, Manuel Locatelli and Jack Hinshelwood among those to go on and establish themselves at the highest level.The Italian also made a point of giving Tottenham’s academy players plenty of opportunities during pre season, handing minutes to 16 youngsters in total. His teammates were Martin Dubravka, Ben Davies, Tosin Adarabioyo, Rodrigo Bentancur, Mohammed Kudus and Dominic Solanke.Muslika joined the club aged 13, four years ago, and only signed his first professional contract with Tottenham last month.
