Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has said he wants to see Harry Kane win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.Rice has been named on the 30-player shortlist for the 2026 Ballon d’Or, which will be announced in a historic ceremony in London next month. It’s a second successive nomination for Rice, who had a key role in Arsenal’s Premier League title success last season. The 27-year-old said he’s proud to have been recognised once again, but said he wants to see England teammate and captain Kane take the award. Kane is understood to be one of the favourites, after scoring 61 goals in 51 games for Bayern Munich last season. The 32-year-old also captained England to third place at the 2026 World Cup, the Three Lions’ best-ever finish at an overseas World Cup. Kane could become the first Englishman since Michael Owen in 2001 to win the Ballon d’Or.“Yeah, for sure, second year in a row nominated, it’s obviously really good. Really proud,” Rice told Sky Sports about his own nomination.“Obviously, I know who I want to see win it. I would love to see Harry Kane win it, so I’m wishing him all the best in that.”Read More – The Premier League clubs with the biggest net spend in summer 2026See Also – The biggest transfer fees ever paid by Premier League clubsFollow the Football Faithful on Social Media:Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | YouTube | TikTokThe post Arsenal midfielder Rice says he would ‘love’ Harry Kane to win Ballon d’Or appeared first on The Football Faithful.
