Watch: Alex Borg Says Institutions ‘Failed’ To Deliver Justice For Daphne

Wait 5 sec.

Opposition leader Alex Borg has questioned whether Malta’s institutions are actually functioning, asking how, nine years after Daphne Caruana Galizia’s murder, those responsible have still not faced justice.Asked whether he believed the country’s institutions were failing, he said that “while not all of them have done so”, “certain institutions have most definitely failed”.He pointed specifically to the Attorney General’s Office, which he said had allowed cases involving Rosianne Cutajar and Neville Gafà to become time-barred.He also repeated his questions about why Castille was among the locations accessed during the investigation. Until the person who ordered Caruana Galizia’s killing is identified, Borg said, Malta cannot claim to have delivered justice. What do you make of this? View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lovin Malta (@lovinmalta)•
