There are reasonable arrangements like this, but this ain't one. I knew a guy who only worked 20-30 hours a week in trades & ~10 hours taking care of a farm (mowing, snow removal, minor maintenance, etc.) for free rent of the "farm hand" house. ~10 hours a week in exchange for rent seems reasonable as that's 25% of full time hours, 25-30 does not.
