A large number of Thar and Fortuner owners in Daman took part in the “Thar-Fortuner Sankalp Yatra” and a road safety pledge administered by the district collector. The initiative comes amid growing online criticism of the two SUVs, with several recent incidents involving Thar vehicles drawing attention. Daman administration also tagged Mahindra chairman Anand Mahindra in its post about the campaign.
