Tokis has announced its 2026/2027 schedule, bringing a fresh line-up of Maltese productions to screens this season. The new schedule features seven new productions, alongside three returning favourites coming back with brand-new seasons. Among the most anticipated additions is Il-Ħajjata Charles & Ron, a ten-part drama series based on the extraordinary true story of Maltese fashion designers Charles and Ron. Il-Ħajjata Charles & Ron premieres this September The first episode of Il-Ħajjata Charles & Ron will premiere on Monday, 28th September at 9PM, with the series running for ten weeks on Tokis, Channel 100, exclusively on GO TV. The series follows the unlikely partnership that would eventually lead Charles and Ron to build a successful fashion house against the odds. From Charles’ modest beginnings in Birkirkara, where his fascination with fabrics began, to Ron’s search for meaning amid Amsterdam’s underground nightlife, Il-Ħajjata traces the pair’s first encounter, their passionate connection and their shared determination to build something of their own. Set across the vibrant 1990s and early 2000s, the story moves between Malta, Amsterdam, Milan and New York, bringing together fashion, art, ambition, heritage and personal identity. The series explores the key moments that shaped their creative and personal journey, combining intimate flashbacks with major fashion milestones and a wider look at the cultural landscape around them. Described as Malta’s first major biopic drama centred around the true story of fashion icons Charles and Ron, Il-Ħajjata offers a closer look at the people and experiences behind the fashion house, revealing moments and stories viewers have never seen before, as well as the determination it took to turn a shared vision into reality. Three months of GO TV for free Those looking to follow Il-Ħajjata Charles & Ron and the rest of Tokis’ new season can do so through the GO TV app, which is free to download and available to everyone – you don’t need to be a GO customer to subscribe. For a limited time, viewers can get three months of GO TV for free, followed by €5.99 per month thereafter. The subscription can be cancelled at any time, with no penalties. The offer is based on the GO TV Start plan, which includes Tokis on Channel 100, the Tokis On Demand library with more than 4,000 episodes available to watch anytime, as well as 20 Maltese and Italian channels. Whether it’s keeping up with Tokis’ latest productions or catching up on episodes on demand, the GO TV app gives viewers the flexibility to watch local entertainment when it suits them. Check out the full Tokis 2026/2027 schedule here and discover everything coming to screens this season. Tag someone you know is interested•
