Ooof. You are a good person. Right after we adopted our guys they both came up positive for heartworm so treatment for that was $$$$, then one of them tore his CCL and had to have surgery, so that was another $$$$. I would never deny my pups their due care and treatment - but I would also never try to take on eight freaking dogs without a really good paying job. LOL.
