As of 2021, Indian villages faced significant challenges in meeting multiple sustainable development goals, with gaps in access to essential services and health insurance coverage. Interestingly, nearly all villages reached targets regarding adolescent pregnancies. These findings underscore the importance of tailored strategies for different communities, indicating that stronger local data systems are essential for achieving future progress.
