Dallas woman uses a fork to lift ‘a lizard’ toward the rim of her Panda Express drink, then says she’s ‘never eating a panda again’

Wait 5 sec.

A Dallas woman says she was about to take a sip from her Panda Express drink when something made her stop, open the lid, and take a second look at what was inside. She filmed the moment as it unfolded, talking viewers through what she was seeing and trying to figure out what was actually inside. By the time she took the lid off, she believed there was something alive in her drink. The video, posted to TikTok by the account chilly cheese coney, opens with the woman visibly rattled as she explains what she’s found. “I am documenting this to show you that I’m not lying,” she says at the start, before describing what she’d spotted. “There is an animal, I. A lizard, I think, in my Panda Express drink.” According to her account, she had already gotten close to taking a sip. “I’m, like, trying to not freak out because I almost put my straw in and took a sip, but I was like, let me just open the lid,” she explains in the clip. The footage does not show her placing the straw in the cup or lifting it to drink, so that detail rests entirely on her narration rather than anything the camera catches. Later in the video, there is a close-up of the cup itself, where a small orange-brown shape with what looks like a body and legs sits submerged in the dark liquid.  Then she gets a closer look She uses a plastic fork to lift it toward the rim for a clearer look, which is the closest the footage gets to confirming what she’s calling a lizard. She ends the video saying, “Oh, my god, I’m gonna throw up,” before adding, “I’m never eating a panda again.”  @natpatty444 not eating panda ever again. this is so disgusting @Panda Express #pandaexpress #lizard #gross #fyp ♬ original sound – chilly cheese coney It’s not the first time a Panda Express order has prompted an unsettling discovery, either, with one woman previously claiming she found something moving inside a fortune cookie from the chain. The comments ranged from jokes about the discovery to calls for the woman to report it. One commenter joked, “Nooo, it’s a collaboration with Geico and Panda Express,” referencing GEICO’s familiar gecko mascot. Others were less lighthearted, with one writing simply, “CALL THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT NOW.” A third took a more resigned tone, admitting, “Wondering how many lizards and bugs I’ve eaten in my lifetime cause I would’ve just chugged my drink and never noticed this.” She isn’t the only diner to have found something she didn’t expect in a drink. A LongHorn Steakhouse customer previously pulled an unexpected object from her cup after taking several sips. As of now, Panda Express has not publicly addressed this video, and the woman hasn’t posted a follow-up explaining what happened to the object. For now, whether it was actually a lizard or something else remains unclear.
