Ethereum Is Correcting β€” But Bulls Still Have the Better SetupEthereum / TetherUSBINANCE:ETHUSDTpullbacksignalEthereum has been moving through a correction on the 4H timeframe after a relatively strong move higher. What makes this correction interesting is the difference between price and time. The correction has lasted for a while, but the actual downside movement has remained relatively controlled. Instead of a sharp reversal, ETH has been consolidating around an important support area. At the same time, the previous bearish pattern has already been broken and price has started to recover from the lower part of the structure. There is also a bullish pattern visible on the H1 timeframe, which adds another layer of support to the short-term bullish scenario. For now, based on the structure and the way the candles are behaving, I give the bullish scenario more weight β€” unless the key invalidation level is broken. ETH Setup Timeframe: 4H 🟒 Current Support / Pullback Zone: 2440 area ❌ Invalidation: 2339 🎯 Pattern Target: 2710 🎯 Mid-Term Target: 3014 There are two possibilities from here. Scenario 1 β€” Retest and continuation The current correction could simply be a retest of the breakout. If ETH continues to hold above the 2440 support area and buyers remain active, the next move could target 2710 first. A stronger continuation would then open the path toward the 3014 mid-term target. Scenario 2 β€” Deeper pullback Price may not be finished correcting yet. If the current area fails, ETH could move deeper toward the 2440 support zone before attempting another recovery. That would not necessarily destroy the bullish structure. The important level is 2339. A clear break below 2339 would invalidate this setup and force us to reassess the structure. Why I'm Not Calling This a Reversal Yet One of the things I like about this setup is that the correction has been relatively orderly. After a strong move, the market often needs time to consolidate and allow previous buyers to take profit while new buyers enter. Right now, ETH has not shown the kind of aggressive selling that would make me immediately switch to a bearish bias. So for now, I'm watching: 2440 support β†’ 2710 pattern target β†’ 3014 mid-term target. The market still has to prove the continuation. Ethereum Fundamental & Development Update Ethereum remains one of the largest smart-contract ecosystems, with its long-term development focused on improving scalability, security and usability. On the development side, the Ethereum Foundation is currently preparing for Glamsterdam, which is in public testing, while the next stage of the roadmap, HegotΓ‘, is already entering the scoping phase. The Foundation's protocol team has also published longer-term priorities extending through 2029. This is important because Ethereum's fundamental story is increasingly about scaling the network while maintaining decentralization and security, rather than simply increasing base-layer activity. From a market perspective, the recent price action is also notable: ETH recently completed a strong rally and then entered consolidation, with the current structure still resembling a continuation rather than a confirmed reversal. So fundamentally, there is still a strong development story behind Ethereum. Technically, however, price comes first. As long as the structure holds, I prefer the bullish scenario. If 2339 breaks, the market gets the final word. ⚠️ Risk Warning: This analysis is for educational purposes only and is not financial advice. Crypto markets are highly volatile.
