(Photo by David Price/Arsenal FC via Getty Images) ✍🏼 Pre-Match Ramblings Arsenal get started in the Champions League on Wednesday night with a trip to Naples where they take on Allegri's Napoli for the first time since our dark days in the Europa League. Napoli have gotten off to a poor start to their Serie A campaign with 1 win out of 3, including blowing a 2 goal lead against Inter with 40 minutes to play. This leaves them in 12th place, already trailing the leading group by 6 points. The Blues will be coming into this game hoping to kick start their European campaign with a brighter start than their domestic one. They have an unremarkable history in Europe, with their best run being in 2022/23 where they reached the Quarter Finals. Napoli manager Allegri has a more successful record in the competition, reaching 2 finals in the last 11 years. After narrowly missing out on European Football's biggest prize with an agonising defeat on penalties against PSG, you have to imagine we have more hunger and drive than ever after being so close to glory. With a fully fit group of attackers and additions in midfielder and defence, we are in better shape than ever to go and claim that one trophy that has always eluded us. But first, Napoli. With a very strong start to our title defence, we are heavy favourites to take three points here. After conceding an early lead against Chelsea only to overcome it with relative ease, a Napoli team struggling to find form this season isn't something that should overly scare us. Having said that, I don't expect much rotation from Mikel Arteta. There isn't much room for rotation in defence given the absence of Mosquera, Saliba, and Timber.
