The 72nd National Film Awards will honor 92 winners on September 22, 2026. This prestigious ceremony will take place at the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. It marks the first time the event is held outside of Delhi. A German aluminium dome will be erected for the grand national event. Preparations are underway for a dignified and grand national ceremony.
