One minute the crowd was riding along to Hip Hop, the next they were deep into Dancehall, with live instruments adding a completely different feel to songs the audience already knew.Every transition brought a new surprise, and the crowd responded with exactly what you’d expect dancing, cheering and trying to keep up with the next beat.Joshua Baraka Takes OverJust when the energy seemed to have reached its peak, Joshua Baraka stepped onto the stage. The singer performed some of his latest hits to loud cheers from the crowd, giving the night another major highlight. Earlier, City Girl, Linus, Life of the Party and other DJs had already set the pace, keeping the crowd entertained and warmed up for the main performances.Away from the stage, Smirnoff kept the party experience going with a vibrant setup and several cocktail stations spread around the venue. The colourful Smirnoff experience added to the atmosphere as revellers moved between the dance floor, performances and cocktail stations throughout the night.According to Raymond Karama, Smirnoff Brand Manager, the aim was to create an experience that matched the spirit of the brand.“Our plan tonight was to release the party spirit and we did exactly that.
