It was all Spendora (m, 5, Audible–Miss Freeze, by Frost Giant) in the GII Fasig-Tipton Locust Grove Stakes as the defending GI Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint winner toyed with the field, taking them pillar-to-post Saturday at Churchill Downs.Splendora broke on top, setting a :24.28 and :47.86 pace while 2024 2-year-old filly champion and fellow Breeders' Cup winner Immersive (Nyquist) clung to her flank. Splendora dispensed of Immersive off the turn, repelled a fresh challenge from Yes It Tiz (Constitution), and cruised under the wire much a much-the-best, six-length victress.
