Maharashtra FDA has intensified food safety enforcement across the state. Eleven food manufacturing units in Thane were raided, seizing products worth over twenty lakh rupees. Licenses for prominent eateries in Mumbai and other cities were suspended due to major violations. The administration also took action against dark stores and dairy suppliers for hygiene issues. Further actions will continue against those violating food safety laws.
