Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and a team-wide outbreak, the Ravens were missing 17 of their players, including nine starters. The Steelers – who entered the contest 10-0 on the season – were favored to win the game by a landslide, but in the end, it was a closely-fought contest, with the Steelers edging the Ravens with a 19-14 win. Colon starred in that game, taking all 53 offensive snaps and protecting backup quarterbacks Robert Griffin III and Trace McSorley, with NBC’s broadcasters even praising him for several strong blocks. He also registered the lead block for running back Gus Edwards’ one-yard touchdown, which at the time, gave the Ravens a 7-6 lead, leading then-Ravens head coach John Harbaugh to credit Colon for playing “a solid game.” After three seasons in Baltimore, Colon spent two seasons in Arizona with the Cardinals where he played in multiple positions, including at right guard, before spending the 2026 season at the Detroit Lions. Colon had signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars back in June, but ultimately chose to retire just before their 2026 season opener against the Cleveland Browns. He retires having played in 63 NFL games (19 starts), playing 1,215 offensive snaps, four defensive snaps, and 217 snaps on special teams.
