“Kamala Harris will keynote a Fulton County Democrats dinner and stump with Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff at the end of October, capping off a spate of appearances on the trail for a select group of candidates on the midterms ballot this year,” CNN reports.“That positions Harris as a closer in one of the key Senate races in the country, in a state she narrowly lost to Donald Trump in 2024 but that is expected to again be a major battleground for the 2028 presidential election. And it means Ossoff, who is running for his second term, is taking a different approach than several other Democrats in tight races who have said they wouldn’t want to campaign with the former vice president.”
