Vasco are exploring two creative ways to sign Richarlison before the Brazil transfer deadline on Friday, 11 September, following Tottenham’s £17.1 million valuation of the forward. The transfer window in Brazil is set to slam shut tomorrow, 11 September, leaving Richarlison with little time to complete a move to Vasco. A transfer has so far proven difficult for the Tottenham forward, who is looking for a way out of north London after several failed moves. Richarlison has since given his approval to a switch to Vasco, while the Brazilian club have been told by Tottenham that any deal for the Spurs striker would need to be a permanent one because of FIFA loan rules.Credit: acafferyphotographyphotos / InstagramTottenham presented with creative Richarlison transfer option ahead of transfer deadline in BrazilGlobo Esporte are now reporting that Vasco are looking for a way to buy Richarlison before the Brazilian transfer window closes. Tottenham initially valued Richarlison at £40 million during the English transfer window, a figure communicated to Everton, who saw a bid below that valuation rejected. However, Spurs’ valuation has now dropped with Vasco interested, and it currently stands at £17.1 million. Given the finances involved, Vasco’s football department is said to be exploring ways to make a deal work. One option being considered is for Vasco to pay Tottenham a smaller amount upfront and spread the remaining payments over the coming years. Another possibility is for Vasco to buy Richarlison and include a buyback clause for Tottenham as part of the agreement. Such a move would give Spurs the option of bringing the Brazilian back in the future for an agreed fee.Spurs weighing up options as Richarlison pushes for exitAs it stands, there is no indication that Tottenham have accepted either structure. However, Richarlison is keen to secure a move and is also considering ways to make it happen.Spurs Web reported earlier today that the Tottenham forward is now contemplating terminating his contract with Spurs in a bid to complete a move to Vasco. Richarlison currently has less than a year remaining on his Spurs deal, where he earns £90,000 per week.Given the fallout between the striker and Tottenham, it is no surprise that such a drastic step is being considered. Richarlison is currently training away from the first team and was left out of Tottenham’s Premier League squad for the season.Should a move to Brazil fall through, the Brazilian is unlikely to play much football until the winter window arrives.READ MORE: Vasco manager gives cryptic 75-word answer on signing Richarlison from TottenhamThe post Tottenham handed creative £17.1m Richarlison solution as Vasco push for deadline deal appeared first on Spurs Web.
