This weekend, Walt Disney World Resort quietly made a replacement to the theme park experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Most recently, Inside the Magic reported that one of two full checkout registers had returned to The Darkroom after disappearing earlier this year. The second missing counter has yet to reappear.On September 13, WDWNT reported that Walt Disney World Resort had replaced the flooring inside the Celebrity 5 & 10 side of the merchandise location on Hollywood Boulevard. The missing cash register was located here, and all signs of the former checkout area have disappeared with the arrival of the new flooring.The updated flooring features large beige, black, green, and blue tiles laid in large square patterns. In place of the old checkout counter is a golden outlet cover, suggesting that the permanent register may not return.
