Soul music singer Kenneth Mugabi has opened up about his songwriting process, revealing how random thoughts, personal experiences and research often come together to inspire his music.Speaking to NRG Radio as he prepares for his upcoming concert, Mugabi explained that his creative process starts with observing the world around him, gathering experiences and conducting research before turning his thoughts into complete stories through music.“I sit alone and start writing random things, and then I put them together into a story,” Mugabi said, describing how seemingly unrelated ideas can eventually develop into meaningful songs.He also revealed that he wrote several songs while still at university, but believes the music was far ahead of its time. Despite being young at the time, Mugabi said the style and themes of his music often made people perceive him as much older.“There are songs I wrote while at campus.
